Gary Sanderson, accompanied by Damien Mansfield present The Life and Songs of Paul Robeson as a part of the 2019 Adelaide Fringe on Sunday 10th March at 3pm. Through Robeson’s activism in the Civil Rights Movement and his sympathies to communism he was blacklisted during the McCarthy era. Some of his negro spirituals include “Go Down, Moses”, “Joshua Fit De Battle Of Jericho”, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”, “Balm In Gilead”, “By ‘n’ By”, “Steal away”. Tickets at the door -$20, Conc $15 and 13 years and under $8
