  • Sunday Kids

    Sunday Kids is an activity-based group held during the 10am service at St Peter’s during school term times (excluding the first Sunday of the month).

    The Sunday Kids activities are aimed at Primary aged children (5-12 years).

  • Youth Group

    Enjoy dinner, dessert, and a variety of interactive games and activities designed to help you connect with others. Popular events in the past have been cooking for the homeless, canvas cross painting, playing spotlight in the church, clay work and bowling.

  • Men's Group

    The Parish Men’s group usually meet around monthly at a variety of locations. Activities include lawn bowls, pub meals, Saturday breakfasts, guest speakers, themed nights at the community centre and more.

  • Oasis

    The OASIS is a group for the younger women of our Anglican parish. The group meet once a month for friendship over a cuppa or a meal at a restaurant.

  • Glenelg Anglican Ladies

    GALs (Glenelg Anglican Ladies) is a group of mature women who meet for fellowship on the 4th Tuesday evening of each month at 7.30pm in the St Peter’s Community Centre.

  • Thursday Mornings

    This is a short half hour service and is ideal for people who cannot make it on Sundays or who cannot sit through a long service.

    Morning tea always follows this service and there is a genuine sense of fellowship amongst this small community who make Thursday church their own.

Historic Location

We are proud that the current St Peter’s Church is built on the site of the first Christian service in the South Australian Colony on 1st January 1837.

We hope and pray you enjoy worshipping with us and find the peace, inspiration, joy and hope you are seeking.

Support us - through donations and bequests

Our parish like any church is a community of people. The church survives solely on the donations of it attendees and members. Our current community benefits greatly from the generosity of previous generations and it is up to us provide for current and future generations who will come after us.
