Dear Parishioners

I are pleased to let you know that Mrs Hewina Jackson has accepted the appointment as Parish Administration Officer and Community Visitors School Co-ordinator. Hewina is a qualified primary school teacher and has worked as a music teacher for thirty years. She has been working as part time parish administrator in the parish of Unley for the past three years, and, with her husband has been a worshipper there for twenty years.

I am sure you join me in looking forward to welcoming Hewina to the role here Tuesday to Friday, twenty hours per week. As her hours are less than what Wendy was doing I look forward to the office also being a hub of volunteer help during the week and I’m sure this will all fall into a regular routine as the year unfolds. We are already blessed to have some great volunteer helpers working regularly in the office.

Hewina’s role will be focussed on Community Visitor’s Scheme; Parish Office administration; Database and Communications; Memorial Garden administration, and will be line managed through the parish priest.

Hewina is expected to start on 28th January and I will be in touch further about an opportunity in February for the parish to welcome Hewina and also for a specific event for CVS visitors to meet her as she takes up that aspect of the role.

Please keep her and the parish in your prayers.

Blessings
