Do you love all things Christmas?

Join the Glenelg community in creating and displaying a Christmas Tree or Christmas Wreath to be displayed at the Christmas Tree Festival at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Torrens Square Glenelg.

The trees and wreaths are displayed in the church and community centre. Other activities include Christmas music, Christmas Wreaths children’s activity, nativity scenes, Anglicare Giving tree (Gifts are collected for the needy), morning and afternoon teas and a Christmas Trading Table.

Anyone, organisations, businesses, clubs and individuals can display a tree or wreath. The trees can be traditional or contemporary and of any size. There is no charge to display a tree and the
name of the exhibitor will be displayed at the base of the tree.

The Christmas Tree Festival is open

Wednesday 21st November 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Thursday 22nd November 10.00 am to 4.00 pm – 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th 10.00 to 4.00 pm
Sunday 26th following Glenelg Christmas Pageant (11.00 am) to 4.00 pm

Those who would like to create and display a Christmas Tree or Wreath, they can be set up at the St Peter’s Community Centre on Monday 19th,  Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm. When the festival concludes, they can be collected on Sunday afternoon at 4.00 pm or the following Tuesday or Wednesday between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm. If you’d like to s

The Blessing and Lighting of the Trees will take place on Wednesday evening (21st) commencing with music at 7.00 pm.

Registrations close on Friday 13th November 2018.
