Work has commenced removing the Great West Window. Glass artisan, Frans Kat, has discovered that the installation of the window is quite unorthodox and removal is difficult. For now he is going to assess the right lancet window for repairs and report on the most effective way to undertake the remainder of the restoration. The longevity of the window and its most effective restoration remains the prime goal.
